Al-Hakami was graduated from Medical College, King Saud University on 1997. He had postgraduate training in ORL-Head and Neck Surgery. Then he had fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the McGill University, Canada.

He is a Residency Program Director of ORL-Head and Neck surgery, KAMC-Jeddah

He is an active member of:

Saudi ORL Society, Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery, Saudi Board Western Residency Training Program Committee, Exam Committee of Saudi Board of ORL-Head and Neck surgery, Head and Neck Working Group at KAMC-Jeddah, and Medical Education Council at COM-KSAU-HS.

He is a facilitator of series of Innovative Concepts in Health Professions Education at COMJeddah, KSAU-HS. His research areas of interest are head and neck oncology and medical education. He has published many articles in refereed journals.

Jose Granell is Associate Director of the Dept. of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Rey Juan Carlos University Hospital and Associate Professor at the European University, Madrid, Spain.

His main clinical interests are thyroid and head and neck oncologic surgery, with special focus on minimally invasive functional procedures. Currently he champions the development of robotics applied to head and neck surgery in Spain and other Spanish speaking countries, acting as proctor.

Rumen Pandev is currently working as professor of surgery at University Hospital “Queen Johanna” - Medical University Sofia, Bulgaria as the chairman of One-Day & Endocrine Surgery Unit.
His main interests are management of benign & malignant endocrine diseases, and famillial endocrine diseases.
Prof. Pandev is currently a member of Bulgarian Surgical Society, International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES), European Society of Endocrine Surgeons (ESES), Division of Endocrine Surgery, European Board of Surgery, European Association of Medical Specialties (UEMS ), German Association of Endocrine Surgeons (CAEK).
He is a secretary of Bulgarian Workgroup of Endocrine Surgery and Coordinator of SOUTHEASTERN EUROPEAN CLUB OF ENDOCRINE TUMORS.

Dr. Siu - Kwan NG is a private ENT surgeon and he also serves asa Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary) at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is active in the fields of thyroid and salivary gland surgery and has been an invited faculty in various conferences and hands-on dissection courses.

Wojciech Golusiński is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences at the Greater Poland Cancer Centre. He currently holds the position of President of the European Head and Neck Society (EHNS) where he previously and successfully acted as General Secretary. For many years now, he has been one of the most internationally recognized Polish head and neck surgeons. He authored more than 200 articles, case studies, book chapters and lectures. His field of expertise includes head and neck surgery, with special focus on reconstructive microsurgery, and transoral endoscopic surgery. His research interests are nowadays chiefly focused on prevention of head and neck cancer and the role of HPV infection in cancerogenesis as well as the subject of cancer markers. Wojciech Golusiński is also the initiator and founder of the Polish Programme of Head and Neck Cancer Prevention. In 2016 he has been appointed to the position of head and neck cancer expert by the Polish Ministry of Health. Professor Golusiński is also the founding member of the Polish Society of Head and Neck Cancer.
